Learn creative approaches to accommodation planning that enhances the productivity, comfort and safety of employees with disabilities — while respecting their privacy, autonomy and dignity. Through presentations, discussions, case studies, and brainstorming and simulation exercises, participants will
- Understand key concepts about employment accommodation.
- Learn ADAPTABLE, a general approach to workplace accommodation planning.
- Know what contributes to the success — or the failure — of the accommodation process.
- Apply the ADAPTABLE approach to cases of employees with disabilities.
